Clud Studio source code licence

Version 1.0, November 2026

This licence is an agreement between Hassan Hamed (“the Licensor”), owner of Clud Studio, and the person or company that buys it (“you”). By downloading or using the software you accept these terms.

1. What you receive

The source code of Clud Studio, its installers for macOS, Windows and Linux, its documentation and its bundled assets (together, “the Software”), in the version current on the day of purchase.

2. What you may do

  1. Install and run the Software on computers owned or controlled by you or your company, for any number of your own staff.
  2. Use it to make videos for yourself and for paying clients.
  3. Change the source code and combine it with your own code for your own use.
  4. Keep, publish and sell the videos you make. The Licensor claims no rights over them.

3. What you may not do

  1. Sell, rent, sublicense, share or publish the Software or any part of its source code, changed or unchanged, including in a public code repository.
  2. Offer the Software, or a product substantially based on it, to others as a product or as a hosted service.
  3. Remove or change the copyright and licence notices.
  4. Present the Software as your own work.

4. Third-party components

The Software includes open-source components and assets (for example icons, fonts, music, sound effects and libraries). Each stays under its own licence, listed in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES. Those licences apply to those components, and nothing here limits rights they grant. You are responsible for following the licences of any model, voice or service you add.

5. Support

Setup help by email for 30 days from purchase. Updates and further support are not included unless agreed in writing.

6. Ownership

The Licensor keeps all ownership and intellectual property rights in the Software. You buy a licence to use it, not the Software itself. The Licensor may sell or transfer the Software and this licence; your rights under this licence continue.

7. No warranty

The Software is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Some features are unfinished, as listed on the product page. To the extent the law allows, the Licensor is not liable for any damages arising from its use, and total liability is limited to the price you paid.

8. Ending the licence

This licence ends automatically if you break section 3. When it ends you must stop using and delete the Software. Videos you made remain yours.

9. Law

This licence is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
